Lake Como
Lake Como wedding videographer and photographer
Lake Como lies at the foot of the Alps in Lombardy, about an hour north of Milan. Villas with terraced gardens, small harbours and boats crossing between Bellagio, Varenna and Tremezzo make it one of the most filmed wedding places in Europe. For a film, the lake gives something rare: water, mountains and old stone in the same frame, often within a few steps of the ceremony.
When to get married in Lake Como
The wedding season runs from May to early October. May, June and September are the months most couples choose: green gardens, long evenings and softer heat than in July and August. Many villas only host a limited number of weddings each year, so the venue usually sets the date before anything else.
Light and timing for the film
The western shore gets the evening sun, the eastern shore the morning light. We plan the couple portraits around the last hour of daylight and, where the venue allows it, a short boat ride, which gives calm, natural moments without any posing.
Planning with us
Travel between the villages is often faster by boat than by road. When the getting ready, the ceremony and the dinner happen in different places, we build the timeline together with your planner so that the crew is already in place before you arrive.

FAQ
Lake Como
When is the best time for a Lake Como wedding?
May, June and September. The gardens are in bloom, the evenings are long and the heat is softer than in midsummer.
Do you film both the ceremony and a boat session?
Yes, when the venue and the schedule allow it. A short ride at golden hour is one of the most natural ways to film a couple on the lake.
